Leash Manners

Achieve an enjoyable walk with your dog

Are you feeling overwhelmed, embarrassed or frustrated by your dog’s pulling? Is your arm sore? Have you tried no-pull devices that didn't stop your dog from dragging you around at the end of the leash?

Training walks with Linda will teach you and your dog the skills to remain calm and on a loose leash.

Going for a Walk
Boy Walking His Dog

$525 package of  (6) Six Training walks

  • First session we will meet with you for a (60) sixty minute introductory session that can be conducted in home or remotely.

  • The next (5) five walks are scheduled training walks.

  • Training walks are (30) thirty minutes each.

  • You will get easy to follow handouts.

  • A training walk session may be in your yard, a walk in your neighborhood or a local park.

  • Basic skills like recall, u-turn, let's go, leave it/drop it and loose leash walking are incorporated into training walks with your dog.

A dog that is overreacting (leash reactive/aggressive) and having more trouble than just pulling on leash may require additional sessions.

All methods are positive rewards-based, kind and compassionate

"A loose leash dog walk is a joy! ... If your dog pulls on the leash, then the walk is neither healthy for your dog nor relaxing for you. It's also a sign that you and your dog are not paying attention to each other -- it takes two to pull, after all. Walks with your dog should feel like walking meditation, not a battle!"
